Welcome to Aberdunant Hall where we have our fantastic outdoor heated terrace (during peak season), cosy restaurant with an ambient atmosphere in which to dine. Went for Birthday Meal with wife and son . Previously booked. We felt welcomed and warmly expected. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The service was good humoured, polite and informative. The food was splendid particularly recommending the crab claw linguini, the twice baked soufflé and crab rarebit. All in all a very pleasant dining experience.

We planned a weekend break in Dolgellau and Y Sospan was booked two weeks before the trip. We last ate there in September 2023 so being keen to visit again is a strong recommendation. We both wanted the lamb shank and it was outstanding in quality and quantity. It's a really interesting building, the service was excellent, the whole experience just what we hoped for. We did, in fact, return for lunch, without booking, on Saturday as we were keen to give the Cafe Menu a try. It'll be on our wish list anytime we are in North Wales and want a decent meal.
