Excellent dinner! Dining room seemed a bit loud so we sat outside where there were large heaters and blankets were offered (not needed). The food and service were top notch. Expect to pay over $100 per person but well worth it

Great and unusual food, terrific service, and a wonderful experience before or after theater or concert.

If you are going to see a concert at the Disney Concert Hall, Asterid should be the only option you should consider.

I can’t say enough about this place. The atmosphere and ambience are superlative. The servers, friendly and knowledgeable. The steaks are cooked to perfection. It’s pricey, yes, but well worth it . An overall great experience.

I've seen lots of negative comments about pre-theater meals at Vespaio. I can't speak to these. The four of us went early (5 p.m.) after a matinee at the Ahmanson, partially in order to avoid rush hour traffic. Our meal was outstanding! We had pork belly, a pasta, pizza, and rockfish (special for the night). All were very, very good. The rosemary potatoes were probably the best potatoes I've EVER had (potatoes may seem like a trivial part of a meal, but they're an indicator). Service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. My guess is that if you pick the time you go so the restaurant isn't too crowded and if you're not too rushed, you'll have as good a meal as you'll find almost anywhere in the L.A. area.
