- MMarkNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a really good evening - it felt so reminiscent of when I lived in Montreal and eating Cafe Cherrier on St Lauren! There was a mistake with our my order for the main course but this was dealt with absolutely perfectly (and generously). Service was excellent and the ambiance was really great!! Food was good and the wine excellent!! Elkwater is a great asset to the area! MarkMore infoElkwater Bar & BistroPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Ponteland•4.8
- TTeresaVIPNewcastle and Northumberland •46 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a delicious lunch today. My friends tried the coated sardines which looked great and the spicy lentil soup. Both thoroughly enjoyed them. Two of us had cod with chicken butter sauce served th white beans which was light and moreish; the other had slow cooked lamb which he said was very tasty and a substantial portion. The desserts were the chocolate espresso plate which I had tried before- it’s wonderful - and apple crumble whic h was demolished.More info21Price: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
- PPaulYorkshire •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoFood quality and service were very good. We were disappointed however, after ordering a bottle of still water we received a bottle of tap water which in which you could taste the chlorine. For this we were charged £3.50 + 10% which rather took the shine of the lunch experience.More infoBlackfriars RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.7
