- LLauraLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a wonderful experience at The Sky Room. It’s a beautiful space with an amazing view. Impecable service and delicious food and drinks. We had pre dinner cocktails at Alter Ego and Nikki was THE BEST! She was very knowledgable about the menu and gave great recommendations. Her sparkling energy set the tone for our fabulous night.More infoSky RoomPrice: Expensive• American• Long Beach•4.3
- DDannyvipLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt’s often the case that a new restaurant takes time to work out their system. That is NOT the case at Nettuno, where we dined on grand opening night. Chef Giuseppe Musso has brought his team with him, upped his game, and hit the ground running. The setting is fabulous, bright, big yet somehow intimate, perhaps due to the well curated art collection adorning the walls. Our meal: antipasti…anchovy shortbread (heaven), focaccia accompanied by an amazing olive oil. Primi…bucatini al cacio e pepe, one of chef Musso’s signature dishes with his own well-executed twist, squid ink fettuccine ai frutti di mare, delectable. Accompanied by a glass of La Quercia di Montepulciano. I dolci were the panna cotta alle fragole and a panforte con pistachio e panna. I highly recommend Nettuno, and I’m sure reservations will be quite necessary in the very near future. The restaurant’s opening coincided with the grand opening of the refurbished Fairmont Breakers hotel. Before dinner belly up to the adjacent bar, and enjoy an after dinner drink in the lounge (also adjacent). There will be live jazz. Also worthwhile is a trip up the elevator to the sky room restaurant, with fabulous views of the Queen Mary and harbor, and the Halo bar one floor higher. Soon to be a downtown hotspot.More infoNettunoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Long Beach•4.4
- SSeanvipSan Diego •12 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 3, 2024The food was really good but watch for the additional service charge. The pricing on their bottles of wine are a bit ridiculous, you will spend less if you buy by the glass vs the bottle. Generally if you are getting 4 glasses it is more economical to get a bottle since it averages 4 glasses, but they charge $15 per glass or $80 for the bottle.More infoNavy Proof Food & SpiritsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Long Beach•4
