Restaurants near Twin Lakes County Park

Had a great dinner at the Del Bar in Lake Delton, WI. We have been their numerous times and not once have we had a a bad meal or poor service. The service (Shane was the server) was excellent as always. And the food again was outstanding. My wife had huge sea scallops with squash with brussel sprouts as the side. Very very good except a little light on the squash as far as quantity. I had the lobster roll, hash browns and french onion soup. Also, very very good. However, I prefer a warm lobster roll instead of the cold roll. Just my preference. We also bought a $200 gift card and received an extra $40 for use in the future. Great marketing by the Del Bar. Definitely we will be back again and again and again.

It was delicious. Worth the price. Our server, (Willow B), was excellent very attentive to our needs kept table clear drinks filled and kept checking on us!!

We enjoyed a delicious cocktail, shared an arancini appetizer and had the walleye. Our dishes arrived at a good pace, were beautifully served and cooked to perfection. The server was knowledgeable, kind and efficient. After dinner we went to the bar for a bespoke peppermint cocktail, prepared for us by the creative bartender. A delightful evening.

We chose to eat at Oakwood because Green Lake is halfway between us and another couple. As a resort town, Green Lake is quiet during the winter so the restaurant wasn't busy on a Friday night. We ordered shrimp havarti and potato skins for appetizers, and ribeyes, beef bourguignon, and gnocchi as entrees. The shrimp havarti was delicious and the steaks were large and cooked perfectly. The only complaint is that the potato skins were just that: potato skins, like large not quite done potato chips. We expected them to have toppings like cheese but there was nothing on them.

My mother and I dined here on Easter and we had a most magnificent time! Our server Marty was wonderful, caring, and humorous. Thank you for his service. I noticed that this Red Lobster could use a makeover. The carpet looks worn and dirty, and the bench we were sitting had torn fabric. Also, the dust on the ledges was quite noticeable.
