- WwilliamGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife, Susan, and I were looking forward to a delicious Italian meal for our Thanksgiving celebration Thursday evening. The staff greeted us cordially and promptly had us seated. We ordered cocktails. I was a little surprised when our server gave us menus offering a prix fix turkey dinner and an a la carte selection of dishes from the regular Italian menu; then it dawned on me that the management would have to limit one selection of dishes to have another for the holiday. We shared a lovely mixed salad with parmigiana cheese and a lite dressing. Susan had tasty scallops risotto and I had fruitti di mare rigatoni which was tasty and plentiful. Our only suggestions would be notifying patrons of the limited menu and to serve the cocktails more promptly; Susan’s drink was surprisingly salty and she did not finish switching to wine. Our server seemed to notice but did not comment but neither did we.More infoIl Massimo - Legacy PlacePrice: Expensive• Italian• Dedham•4.7
- DDavid and LucianavipGreater Boston •92 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration there yesterday. Everything was fantastic, food was delicious, fresh and tasty. The drinks also very good. The Pumpkin Cheesecake was out of this world. Our special table was beautifully decorated with dazzling sparkling Fall Thanksgiving decorations and a nice ambiance by a candle lamp. We had the pleasure of having our favorite server there, Pack. She is phenomenal, nice, pleasant, friendly, with a beautiful smile and on point with everything. She is always very attentive and we have nice conversation with her. She is the best! Awesome service all around at this restaurant, always. The House and our wonderful server offered us a Champagne Toast at the end, it was so nice and unexpected. Thank you for making our Holiday special and memorable. We'll be back again soon.More infoThe Capital Grille - DedhamPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Dedham•4.8
- RRichardGreater Boston •4 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoOverall great experience. The staff was friendly even wished my fiancee a happy birthday each time they met her. There were a few hiccups as to why I could not rate 5 stars. First was our steaks were over cooked not destroyed however at $50 for a ribeye the cook should know med rare from med well. The homemade steak sauce that was touted on the menu was lack luster. The other reason was we ordered a bottle of wine that was listed at $45 and charged $60. Normally I wouldn't have even noticed however I decided to take the customer copy as a momento of the occasion. When I reviewed it I noticed the error. Not a huge deal but still put a bitter taste in my mind. The decor was classy and tasteful. The acoustics were not good and was very loud and it wasn't a rowdy crowd either. Good time enjoyed it didn't feel that there was enough value in the food which all was good but nothing wowed us. As more upscale restaurant I would expect more. Edit: This says alot about an establishment. After my review was posted the restaurant read it and not only responded but did so in such a professional way that really did make me feel better. I recieved a voice mail as the call came while I was at work from Emelia. She did in fact remember us and having wished my fiancee a happy birthday. She apologized for the over sight of the over charging of the bottle of wine. Yes I do believe it was simply missed in rephrasing of proces in computer and not done maliciously. She stated that the difference would be reversed on my card. And also said how they do appreciate the honest feedback. I really appreciate this gesture and also no long drawn out excuses the over charge was a simple mistake. The kitchen well it didn't get brought up and I believe rightfully so and appreciate that excuse wasn't thrown out. Mistakes happen and I have a feeling that management will address the issue in their own way. And thank you for not asking me to change my review instead I added this note.More infoNovaraPrice: Expensive• Italian• Milton•4.8

- AAnnetteGreater Boston •3 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 25, 2024We got reservations here before going to see a play at Huntington Theatre (just a few doors down). Most of the servers seemed newer, and things got busy quickly, and I think that's when our tiny corner table got lost in the shuffle. Luckily, a more seasoned waitress (perhaps the owner?) noticed us looking around having already eaten our bread (with REALLY good oil & balsamic vinegar, btw!), and she immediately took over for the rest of our services with top-notch skills! We informed her of our increasing time constraints and she was on everything without an issue! We made it to the show on time with some very yummy food in our bellies!More infoAntonio's BacaroPrice: Moderate• Italian• Hyde Park•4.7
