Food was very good! Drinks were also awesome in the pub! Our table was near a back door that didn’t close when people walked in and out and the breeze was very cold! Our server and my husband did a good job of trying to keep it closed! Todd was great and we will definitely be back!!!

1818 at Monmouth is an exquisite restaurant. The minute you walk through the front door you feel welcome. You leave the outside world behind , you have entered another realm. There is a sense of calm and tranquility. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere often with soft music playing or sometimes a live pianist filling the home with melodic splendor. The service is excellent and attentive . I have tried several items in the menu . My favorite is the filet mignon. I tried the seasonal butternut squash soup on my last visit which was perfection. They have a nice wine list and all the appetizers are good as well as the gumbo . If you wish to plan a romantic weekend trip , please support Natchez and stay at Monmouth and visit 1818. You will not be disappointed.

We had a delicious meal and a nice time together. The employees were hospitable.
