The overall rating is excellent if you looking for a laid back evening with live music and a fun atmosphere. If I was to have a complaint, we had reservations and when we checked in they sat us at a table right in front of the singer. It was extremely loud, so we were yelling in the entire time. Others with no reservations, were walking in and were given tables on the porch or with a view, so this was disappointing. Same number of people as we had too, 4.

Welcoming staff helped create a wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic views and staff offering to take pics for your party is great. The food was delicious and happy hour drinks great value. Highly recommend.

We were a table of 6 for early Christmas dinner. Arrived early and were seated on time. Waiter was fast, efficient and friendly. Food was excellent . We had a vegan guest with us and the waiter and kitchen did an excellent job accommodating the dietary restrictions. I thank you very much on that. Prices were fair considering portions and quality. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Al in all a very good experience. Form valet to hosts to wait staff and chiefs Well done.

This is one of our go to restaurants in HNL. We have been going here since it opened and as well to its predecessor at the Modern. While the food is exquisite (sticky ribs are the best you will ever have), we have determined that the real reason we keep coming back is the staff. This year, they confirmed that beyond our expectations. Bryan was our server and he was fantastic, enthusiastic and friendly. The manager, Vinnie, came over to our table and a good visit turned into something truly memorable! Thank you Vinnie! We look forward to continuing to come back; for the food but more importantly, the amazing/great/welcoming staff!

The entire experience was wonderful, starting with a very warm and welcoming Hostess who checked us in for our reservation and explained some of the menu to us. After being seated, we were readily greeted by our server, who was very personable and attentive to our questions and needs throughout the dinner service. He patiently explained the differences in our wine choices, suggested various dishes, and explained some of the local sourcing for our dishes, which we really appreciated. Our appetizer and dinner dishes were delicious, fresh, and hot! There was a nice pacing between our appetizer and dinner and we savored every morsel. And our server made sure our water glasses were filled and asked how our meals were throughout. We will definitely come back!
