I highly recommend Rood. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and cozy. It’s a place I felt I could have stayed all night. The food was excellent and the dessert is not to be missed. We had wonderful service as well. 5 stars!

Love the atmosphere! Great bar and set up. We had cocktails at the bar before our table was ready. Impressive and unique drink list, the bar tenders clearly know what they are doing. It was fun to watch. We really enjoyed the appetizers, the main dishes had good flavor, loved the Salmon and pork chop, the pasta dishes tasted good but reminded me of something I could easily make at home. Great service.

Grilled bread with whipped ricotta- WOW. Housemade meatballs- perfectly flavored. BUCATINI BOLOGNESE- the noodles were perfect, sauce was divine. CRISPY CHICKEN LIMONE- not a drop was left on the plate. A+ SHORT RIB GARGANELLI- I have no words for how delicious this was!

Very nice first experience. This is an interesting find and kind of hidden in a speakeasy kind of way. Definitely high energy and quite loud. Two great bartenders behind a very small bar area. Menu is somewhat limited, but does have interesting small plates and wood fired pizza's. Vegan Cream of Mushroom soup was outstanding. Ciabatta sandwich was very good but nothing special. Burrata Pizza had all the right ingredients, but I wish is would have been a bit more charred and crispy. Dough is quite thick, though fresh. Perfect Manhattan hit the spot.

Wife and I had terrific dinner last evening. Ostrich and scallops appetizers, lobster pasta and mussels saffron pasta entrees all outstanding. Our server Jen was extremely helpful in choosing two bottles of the style of wines we wanted (we took part of each bottle home!). Looking forward to returning to try many other dishes.
