Brian was great! Food was all perfect- we had filet mignon  lobster mac tater tots tiramisu cheesecake and sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. Sadly the beef Wellington is wrapped in prosciutto, which was a bit disappointing as we don’t eat pork- However its our fault for not checking!! Drinks were good and strong as well. Great view and the pianist coupled with the dim lighting made for a perfect romantic ambiance . Only complaint would be that they aren’t very strict with their dress-code- saw someone wearing lululemon leggings and sneakers which kind of threw me off. Feel like it cheapens the place. But overall very great experience .

Dining at the Crown Block restaurant is an experience worth every penny. The combination of exceptional food, excellent service, and an unforgettable view makes it a standout in Dallas’ fine dining scene. A very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere in the first floor dining room. We ate here before going to a play. The food was great, we loved the appetizers. The potstickers were exceptional as was the crab cake. We also enjoyed the coffee. May be the best we have had at restaurant in Dallas. The service was attentive but not rushed. We visited the rooftop where it was louder and bit more festive. It was the best of both worlds! Quiet and relaxing for a date downstairs and great upstairs for drinks with friends. The menu is served in both places with a Happy Hour menu upstairs. We will be back.

Sweet Jesus! This place was soooooo good. We stumbled on here actually when where we were planning to go was close. From the entrance, the hostess was friendly and kind. We were quickly seated and almost immediately greeted by our waiter. The food was phenomenal! My husband and I are both from the islands and have come to expect subpar jerk food at best however this place outdid themselves. Literally our new favorite spot in Deep Ellum. The drinks were phenomenal and the service even better. To top everything off, there are some cute backdrops in different parts of the restaurant that make it Instagram worthy. 10/10

A Christmas tradition for me and my family! Very e joyable experience. Typically I get the famous pork chop however the Prime Rib caught my eye. The prime rib was well cooked (med rare). I will say I was expecting some Smoked flavor however the prime rib had an extreme smoked taste which was overpowering. I ate around most of the char, but in my opinion and those of a couple of us, you should cut back on the smoke preparation for the prime rib. We will definitely return and I will definitely return to the pork chop selection! Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve meal/tradition. Michael Oney
