Restaurants near The Lodge on Elizabeth Bed & Breakfast

The food was good! Minor things could have made this a 10/10 experience. The beef burnt ends were quite tough. The smaller pieces were the best as they would fall apart. The lager ones were just too firm. The steak (scotch fillet) was cooked to perfection and was beautifully seasoned. But the sauce that came with it (sundried tomato) was too salty and overpowering. Other than that it was a great experience and would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic place! The views were breathtaking. I can't believe we lived in Hobart for seven years and had never been to this amazing spot. The service was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly. The menu was fantastic, and the food was finger-licking good! We were a party of four, and all of us absolutely loved it, commenting on how we must come back again.

Food was fantastic, service superb, atmosphere was amazing. We visit every time we’re in Hobart and Landscape never disappoints 😋🙂

Couldn’t have been happier with my Birthday dinner !!! What lovely staff, we had the best time. Food was exquisite, background music and ambience was perfect. Cocktails were Devine. Was just the best experience. Can’t wait to go back xxx

The food was amazing. Service wasn’t the best. They set us at the wrong table for our set menu Valentine’s Day dinner. We ended up seated in the middle of the restaurant and was basically ignored after they sat us down. Finally got their attention and lots of apologies about seating us in the wrong area. They quickly moved us to the correct table in a more secluded part of the restaurant but then took forever to bring out drinks and didn’t really ask for any additional drinks order. We had the seafood platter and it was incredible so no faulting the quality of the food. I’m not sure it the correct ambience for what they are trying to achieve with the decor. It looks like a place where it would be great for a date night but I would say it is not. More of a hotel restaurant eatery vibe, if you are seated in the main restaurant, tables are close together so you are right next to the people next to you and it’s noisy. I’d go back for a business lunch type meal but probably not for another date night. Considering they had taken the trouble of doing a special menu for Valentine’s Day, I think the lack of attention to detail let the whole experience down.
