A lot has changed in both our town and the craft beer industry since we opened our doors as the culmination of a business school plan I wrote my senior year at UNC. Today, we celebrate our North Carolina roots with a made-from-scratch menu focused on Carolina foods in a newly renovated building.     We dined here on Christmas Eve. It was busy, but we had a reservation and were seated right away. I had dined here before, but my mom, husband, and 8-year-old had not. First - our server was attentive, patient, friendly - all the good things. Second, the food came out quickly and was wonderful! We enjoyed all small plates, of which my favorite has always been the beets and brussels salad. My 8-year-old loves mussels and scarfed them up - she was very reluctant to share! :) They do have a kids menu, though, and she got the chicken tenders as a kid often will. Also yummy. I love that this place is light and spacious... yes, there are lots of tables and it's a bit noisy, but that just means it's a popular restaurant. I highly recommend this place for any occasion.
