You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option. This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. Then you get a favorite bottle of wine to bring home, coupled with carefully chosen side dishes and the best burgers and fresh Carolina seafood in Greenville to throw on the grill. Or maybe you even have a long-standing Sunday brunch date!

I love the vintage appeal of this restaurant with its stain glass windows , brick walls, and gas lanterns. I love that the background music was low and you could actually have a conversation with the ones you’re dining with without yelling over background music and noise. Our waitress was excellent and attentive and helped a member of our party with a food allergy issue. The menu offered a host of good choices and the food was delicious. Will definitely be dining here again and again.

Sydney was very pleasant and helpful in making our dining experience more enjoyable. We were both rather stressed after an unpleasant concert experience at Bon Secours and looking forward to a relaxing, cozy dinner which we found at Soby’s and Sydney was very accommodating. She was attentive without being overly so. The butternut squash soup was absolutely delicious as my wife’s pork chop and my shrimp and grits for which Soby’s seems rather well known! No wine tonight as we had a drive back to Keowee and the only dessert was black decaf coffee. Soby’s is the first restaurant we ever ate at in Greenville 10 years ago so rather nostalgic for us. It is quite noisy but also quite busy on a Friday night so expected.

We enjoyed a light supper from Indaco's seasonal white truffle menu. Food was delicious. We would definitely order the beet salad and brussel sprouts again. Dave, our waiter, was attentive and helpful. We will be returning soon.
