Our kitchen uses only select mesquite wood to insure every item has just the right amount of smoky flavor. In 1974 it was saved from demolition by a citizen-led petition, and gained National Historic status. The historic house has a new life as a restaurant and bar, with Executive Chef Tyler Rogers creating dishes that celebrate local, seasonal ingredients.     I took my wife here for our last date night and we were the only ones. Thise place is new and the hotel is not yet finished. Isaac our waiter was incredible. He had an in depth knowledge of the menu and provided excellent service. The ambiance is almost elevated/subtly upscale New England coastal. We had the Sourdough starter, the burger and I had a whiskey sour. The sourdough great and the burgers were much larger then either of us expected, a great value, but the real stars were the huge potato wedges that came with the burgers. I have never had potatoes that were so fluffy. The outside was crispy and perfectly salted. We will 100% be coming back.

    Had the feast and a 2lb lobster. Delicious The service was EXCELLENT. We had reservations on Xmas which turned out to be terrible. Long wait even with reservations and overheard the hostess say they were running out of food. They closed early Xmas at 8:00. We then cancelled and came on Friday 12/27.
