My girlfriend and I haven’t been to a Benihana’s in 10 years. 10 years later, they are still going stronger than ever. As soon as we stepped in, I could immediately smell the delicious aroma. Despite frequent power issues, leading to computer issues, they did not let it stop them from putting on an amazing show, performing with amazing service, and cooking the most amazing hibachi stir fry anywhere. I am in the culinary business myself and the hibachi shrimp was absolutely to die for, cooked to perfection and flavored with love. My girlfriend also tried their sushi for the first time which neither of us have ever had. They have some of the best sushi I have ever tasted. But my absolute favorite is still their amazing mustard sauce. I could eat with that sauce absolutely all day. Benihana still remains one of my top favorite restaurant spots to visit. We experienced a power outage at the Derby and were unable to enjoy our meal. The waiter informed us that our food was about to be served, but it never arrived. This was a total disappointment, especially since it was my spouse’s birthday dinner, and we had to pay in cash.

This place was beautiful and the service was spectacular. I’d say it’s a lil too pricey for what you get though. I’ve had high tea at other places that were around $30-$40 and had more stuff whereas this place (while yes it was good) was $64 per person for a few slices of bread, tarts, crumpets, and one tea selection. On top of that, you have to pay to get into the Huntington. I still rate it five stars cause it was a beautiful and calm experience, but again just a bit overpriced.

It's a small place but staff was very friendly and the food was ample and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their order, which included Greek salad, their combo plate, and Roquefort chicken. We had requested a quiet location and got one. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to hear the two musicians in the front room but their music was piped in.

We had a good time! Excellent waiter! Food was very good. The individual pizza dough was not its usual good self. Not cooked enough. My chicken parmesan was slightly too well done. The hamburger, French fries, pasta, salad and individual bazookie were delicious.
