Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests. So good! Loved the burger battle burger. Tastes like a street taco. Make sure to try the Guacamole Elote! My husband had the salmon and it was also very flavorful. Would recommend this place.

Minervas is and always has been a classy upscale restaurant with a great menu and a great staff. The ambiance is perfect for a date night and all other special occasions. And being located in DTSF along with great shopping makes it fun just to stop in for an appetizer or cocktail at the beautiful bar.
