Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. The restaurant is located on South Pearl Street and is the second restaurant of the Kizaki brothers, founders and owners of Sushi Den. The menu is arranged in a tapas style, serving traditional Japanese small plates along with dishes infused with international flavors and textures. The more traditional Japanese offerings include sashimi and nigiri, sourced from daily fish shipments from around the globe, along with dumplings and noodle dishes.     Second time back, this time we brought friends! I highly recommend Corrine for brunch. Meals are excellent. My husband has now had the Croquet Madam twice and loves it! The biscuits are a must try. One of our friends told us they were just like his mom made and fought us over the last biscuit. The fingerling potatoes are perfectly prepared and compliments the meals well. Will definitely be back!

    Came to Olivia to celebrate the new house we bought with my husband and parents. We love Olivia, the price is not for the faint of heart but the experience is always so wonderful. Staff are polite and attentive (without being annoying), my mom wanted some drink concoction that they didn't have the ingredients to make but the bartender took the time to whip up something custom that she ended up loving. Food is always exceptional start to finish.
