Restaurants near Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver

When we were lead to our table we were offered to check our coats. The atmosphere was lively and very busy. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started off sharing a Crab Cake, It was very tender and hot. I had the Filet Mignon with Béarnaise sauce and my wife had the Salmon Wellington with a Tarragon sauce(not Béarnaise). Both dinners were very good. I guess my only complaint would be the vegetables were under done, they were still crunchy. The desserts were incredible. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Vancouver.

Our visit to Nightingale was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the service and ambiance set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food was beyond incredible—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our server, Colwyn, who truly made the evening special. He was not only attentive and caring but also incredibly thoughtful with his recommendations. His warm and welcoming demeanor made our first meal in Vancouver a highlight of our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our time here. Thank you, Colwyn, and the entire team at Nightingale for such a memorable experience. We’ll be back! We came to celebrate Christmas and the servers is great! Waiter missed some dishes but it’s all good! Really enjoy the atmosphere there! Will definitely go back! Love the steak!!

Excellent meal at Joey’s Bentall! Tried the cod for the first time, what a delicious dinner. I will be back just for the cod! The kids shared a cheeseburger and hubby had the katsu chicken salad, always delicious. The restaurant was busy, pre hockey game crowd. Our waiter Thomas G, was a star! He added to an already great meal, he was attentive in all the right ways, with a smile and a sense of humour.

We had a very friendly waiter, take about services with a smile, he has done it above and beyond and is a joy to see. The ambience is there, right around the bar area and we can see the bartender focusing on making his concoctions with care and love. The food is excellent especially the apple tartan with the added touch of vanilla ice cream!
