Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location. We have searched for the right restaurant and are happy that we have found it in Silver Run. Ken brings more than thirty years of varied restaurant experience with him to Bud's. From learning under Karl Beckley at the Greenlake Grill in Seattle to Food & Beverage Director of the Virgin Grand in the Virgin Islands, Ken is excited to return to Maryland. From the moment we walked in and sat down for a cocktail, the ambiance and service was great! The food was very good but I wouldn’t say EXCELLENT. My husband lamb was a bit overcooked. But I loved about 90% of the food. It was worth the price we payed and our service was amazing. We also got a three course wine pairing and I felt like it was paired well.

Christmas Day dinner for two. Steak and lobster dinners were well prepared and very good. Wait staff were very pleasant and efficient. I would recommend this Red Lobster.

Our first time at The Altland House and everything was wonderful. We had a really nice table right in a corner window overlooking the Abbottstown Square waiting for us when we arrived, service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious and well portioned. Definitely a gem in the middle of nowhere.
