South End was home to Charlotte’s first railroad line, connecting us to Columbia and Charleston, SC in the mid-1800’s. “Link & Pin” is an old railroad term. A “Link” was installed on one railcar then, as the two railcars were joined, a “Pin” was manually inserted into the other railcar’s link, holding the two railcars together. Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine.     This was on the to do list for a little time and wanted to make it special occasion when we did go. So for her 50th, it was a plan of mine. Seating near the kitchen was at first a bad idea, but to see the love and perfection going into your food was great. Also saw how organize they work with and around each other. Waitress and waiters did a phenomenal job and made our first time turn into planning to come back soon. Great job to all.
