Peppercorn’s Grill is owned and operated by the Cialfi siblings, Sal and Dino, Brothers Sal and Dino purchased Peppercorn's Grill in 1989 and opened Piccolo Arancio in 1994. This generation of Cialfi's has added modern creativity and personality to traditional strengths of their Italian roots. Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome.     It was our first time at this restaurant however, our family members had been there before and recommended it for Christmas Eve dinner. Perfect evening!! All of the staff treated us like family and were happy to have us there. tried several sushi and appetizers. The size of the maki rolls was unbelievable and the flavors outstanding.  we had a picky eater among us and we were shocked at the things he tried and the things he liked from tartare, to foi gras and even bone marrow, so impressed.  Cocktails were absolutely loved by everyone …. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve phenomenal… we’ll be back!

    We were there on Christmas Eve to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday (on her actual bday) and the wait staff did such an amazing job. Our glasses were never empty, we never had to ask for refills. Our meals were delivered fairly quickly and the table was setup with a card and birthday confetti. Such attention to detail. The restaurant was busy, but you would have never known until around 6pm. Side note: When I was making the reservation, I was told there would be over 500 people in and out on Christmas Eve. Naturally, I was thinking the restaurant might lose its charm with all of that noise; but it never did. It was again, one of the best local dining experiences for our family! Thank you Capital Grille - Hartford!!🩷
