- JJohnVIPVirginia •25 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024We always have a Christmastime meal at Table 50. It's something we all look forward to. The food is always delicious and the menu is diverse enough that everyone can find something they will enjoy. We always get the cheese plate, different salads and delicious entrees...And creme brulee is a great way to finish off the meal. Our service was great and the dining room has a great ambiance...More infoTable 50Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Roanoke•4.7
- DDavidChicago / Illinois •19 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024Overall Lucky is a GEM! We visited on the Monday before Christmas. While many restaurants were closed - because it was Monday, leadership at Lucky made the wise decision to be open. It was a busy night in downtown Roanoke and the restaurant was pretty full as a result. To my thinking it also gave the employees a chance to make some good Christmas tips. I suspect that the restaurants that were closed will be also be closed Tuesday and Wednesday as well because of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day respectively. That leaves the employees with 3 days with no pay or tips. Good job Lucky! With respect to food and service: The food and drink menus are inventive and inspiring. I was impressed by the quality, taste and presentation of the food. I think the prices are a smidge high but the quality, SERVICE, and ambiance certainly make up for it. Based on our one visit, I will say that Lucky seems to be a GEM in the Roanoke restaurant scene.More infoLuckyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Roanoke•4.8
