- DDawnEast Texas •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoWow, what a great meal we had tonight. The steak was ON POINT. The Ceasar Salad was great, the homemade croutons were amazing. The service was terrific. I am so glad we tried this place. I will definitely be back when I'm in Amarillo again.More infoX Bar SteakhousePrice: Moderate• Steak• Texarkana•4.8

- JJohnDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024As usual, Brianna gave great service and everything was on point. We had the new cured salmon and pork belly sliders which were both great. There are only 2 sliders per order, so make sure you ask if you're sharing. We also had the albondigas, escargot, peppadews, carpaccio, octopus, brussels sprouts, and Niscalos. All were great (as usual), the niscalos were especially tasty but the brandy sauce wasn't really needed with the delicious broth in the mushrooms. We always order extra bread for the escargot butter and garlic.More infoSa•VorPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Amarillo•4.8
- DDavidvipAustin •61 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 3, 2024This was one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever been to. Is it in Amarillo? Wow. The snapper cakes were divine, and the gumbo was elegant, understated, yet bold. The shrimp was soft and buttery, while the roux was fantastic. The shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had; they put Commander's Palance to shame. The shrimp were plump yet buttery and tender and absorbed the flavor of the roux. I am in shock and awe.More infoDrunken OysterPrice: Expensive• undefined• Amarillo•4.8
- LLorenTexas Panhandle •1 review5.0Dined on Aug 23, 2024My wife and I went to Public House to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. We always enjoy a meal at Public House. My wife had a margarita with whiskey, and I may have enjoyed that more than she did. Our appetizers were crab and cream cheese wontons and drunken mushrooms. For our meal, my bride ordered mac/cheese with meatloaf. I ordered my "go to" favorite BLT. That may not seem celebratory to some, but I do love that BLT! Everything was delicious, but if I were to do that meal over again, I would have passed on the drunken mushrooms only because they are rich (yet delicious) and I had to restrict my attention to my BLT. Great food, great ambiance, great service...that makes for a very Happy Anniversary for us. And I almost forgot the carrot cake. I lack the right words to describe the taste, so I'll go with, "delicious."More infoPublic HousePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Amarillo•4.9
