Callie represents Chef Travis Swikard's debut solo project after spending a decade working alongside the esteemed Chef Daniel Boulud in New York City. The restaurant’s name, "Callie," comes from the Greek word "kallos," meaning "the most beautiful," and embodies its blend of Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and terroir, from sea to land from San Diego, Swikard's hometown. In 2022, Callie was acclaimed as one of America's top new restaurants by Esquire and Robb Report, and received both a Bib Gourmand and a Plate from the Michelin Guide. Fantastic steakhouse with real gourmet twist and superb service! Went for my honey’s 50th and they couldn’t have treated us better. Steak was delicious & perfectly cooked, wine list is excellent & they were great about accommodating food allergies. Thank you Lisa & team - We will go back again & again!

We celebrated our birthdays with the Mediterranean Feast. I had the wine pairings. The wine list is one of the best in town. The food was spectacular, the service was friendly but professional. I couldn't recommend Callie more highly.

Amadeus and the front counter team took great care of us. This is certainly a “hidden” gem in San Diego and a great place for a few drinks with friends. Especially if you don’t want to run into anyone.

My coworkers and I had a blast! We were kinda bombed that majority of the activities were closed off due to for some it was a first time experience! However, it’s the holidays and we understood! We’ll definitely be returning soon for our monthly girls night out! 🥰
