We always enjoy our time at the National Exemplar Restaurant. The Christmas decor is just beautiful. The staff is friendly and efficient. We also enjoy the beautiful patio in the summer as well. The chef has some innovative dishes which are very good.

They no longer have table cloths and 2 of our dishes came out in the dishes they were prepared in. I like the look and ambiance but not what it used to be :(

I found this restaurant on OpenTable, and I'm so glad we went! It has a cute dining space on the main floor by the bar. But the upstairs area was really cozy and quant with it's separate dining spaces. We felt like we were eating at someone's house. Service was excellent, and pride themselves on being accommodating to people with food allergies. There are lots of options on the menu, and they have the same yummy donut holes as one of their sister restaurants, S.W. Clyborne! We will definitely return!

My wife and I dined here for the first time ever. We went in with big expectations due to the reviews and national acclaim. We were absolutely not disappointed. The food was incredibly delicious, with levels of rich flavor. Steak was perfectly cooked and the additional add on Mac and Cheese was exceptional. If you're going to the Precinct, you have to get a steak and they do NOT disappoint. Alec and Lizzie attended to us and did an exceptional job. They both were warm, quick and inviting. This was my birthday and Alec made us feel seen and appreciated in a way I don't feel any restaurant ever has. Anytime our glass of water would get remotely low, Lizzie was there to fill. Both of them provided incredible service, each with a glowing smile on their face and made the entire experience feel just that - an experience. I went in with mild anxiety that it wouldn't be up to the lofty standards I had built it to be, but The Precinct blew that away.

First time here, nice little restaurant. Server was very attentive & did a great job. We had 6 people for dinner. Those who ordered the salmon was happy with it, flavorful & nice portion. Those who ordered the fried cod were disappointed in the small portions for what they were charged. I had the fish tacos that had goof flavor, but there was nothing to them. For 20.00 you get three MINI tacos with barely any fish on them. Little pricey for the lack of fish & small portion. Extremely loud inside, we all had a hard time hearing each other.
