Welcome to Tempura Matsui –A Michelin One Star–Tempura Matsui invites you to experience the fine art of cooking tempura. Within a serene setting, guests have a seat at our counter or tables and can view the delicate preparation of lightly frying fresh fish and vegetables. We only serve Omakase Dinner Course for $280 per person at 2 specific times Tuesdays through Saturdays between 5:30PM and 8PM.     I’m so happy we were able to make a reservation online! We Got our table right on time. Our server took care of us brilliantly! Shout out to Patty P, our server. She was lovely! She did a great job with explaining the menu and the specials, making suggestions for wine. And just overall entertaining. She did a fabulous job of getting us everything we asked for.

    Came here for my partner’s 30th dinner and it was stunning! The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was enchanting! Bessi was very accommodating and attentive through out the evening and an amazing host. We ordered based on his recommendations and it did not disappoint! Thank you! We will be back again

    Our group enjoyed a wonderful dining experience in one of New York's legendary steakhouses. Everything was prepared and timed perfectly throughout the evening and it was a pleasure to host our night out at this historic location. The service was top notch and the hand-crafted cocktails during the meal were delicious, cold and exceptional. A+ overall for our night out beginning with the Caesar salad, and spot on prepared bone in ribeye, Cajun and NY strip with amazing classic sides of onion rings, whipped potatoes and creamed spinach!! Two thumbs up and what every NY steakhouse should aspire to.
