Originally known as Phoebe's Garden Café, the restaurant has a long and colorful history in Syracuse. Local lore claims that the building was originally a brothel, and Phoebe was its madam. In the summer of 2004, Phoebe's experienced a refreshing makeover with a bright new look in the atrium dining room with fresh paint, new upholstery, and artwork. The coffee lounge also opened that year, and it became an instant hit with the surrounding university and business crowd.     This was my second time visiting Eden. I so enjoyed the first time, I had to go back! My daughter and I went for dinner last night. We ordered drinks from the mixologist who surprised us with very yummy cocktails. We started with appetizers which was the beet salad, and it was delightful. We also had the mushroom toast, absolutely one of my favorites. Then a house salad. We ordered the strip steak with hearth smashed potatoes, Chimichurri, Kale, Creme Fraiche. It was so tender, moist and full of flavor! Our dessert consisted of Lemon tart, my favorite and Blueberry Panna Cotta. " OMG so wonderful"! One thing that made this restaurant a great hit for me, was sitting at the bar, discussing menu favorites with other guests and making new friends. Thank you again for a wonderful evening!

    Great spot and had such a fun and welcoming vibe. Food was delicious we had the shrimp tower and the wedge for apps, octopus and haddock francaise for dinner and creme brûlée.

    Our experience was amazing. The food was excellent our server could not have been better. The owner introduced himself. He was a very nice man. He seemed a little lonely but we found out his wife was away and he missed her very much. After talking with us he cheered up quite a lot
