Restaurants near Quaddick State Park

A wonderful evening at Assados! The service was top notch, the food was outstanding and the drinks were on point! Assados is our favorite destination!!! Can not wait to come back!

I have been to Hemenway's in the past and this restaurant never ceases to be top notch. The Service (shoutout to Mia!) was fantastic and the food and atmosphere outstanding. I highly recommend Hemenway's. We were celebrating an anniversary and it was pretty cool that our table was sprinkled with rose petals and we were greeted numerous times with a hearty "Happy Anniversary! by a number of the wait staff and greeters(?). Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants anywhere!

Food, staff, and venue were all fantastic and made my husband’s birthday dinner special.

We were in town passing through Putnam and made lunch plans with my cousin who lives in the area that we hadn’t seen for a while. Found on Yelp and made a reservation. We were welcomed and seated quickly. We had great service and the food was delicious and good sized portions. We all had burgers, lol! The manager stopped by to say hello and see how things were going. All in all, a great choice!

The food was generally outstanding. We had bourbon steak tips and Gorgonzola steak tips and both were delicious. The nachos, which came out much too close to the main dishes, were lacking enough toppings for the chips. We left half. Service was friendly if a tad slow. And with the live music - which was very good - it was very noisy in there, making it hard to chat. Overall, though, we enjoyed and will return.
