Restaurants near Providence Amtrak Station

This was an exceptional dining experience. I’ve been to a couple of different Fogo de Chaos before and Providence is the best! The waitstaff continually is checking in on your needs and are very attentive. There was a constant flow of different meats being offered and our party never had to wait for any. The ribeye, lamb and sirloin were standouts. I do have to mention the cheese with drizzled honey…amazing! The salad bar was well stocked with a huge variety of choices including soups. Each table has fried polenta, plantains, mini popovers and mashed potatoes for sharing. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, but please go when you’re hungry!!

This was our second visit since moving up to Rhode Island. Well worth the visit. The service was outstanding as well as the food. We went for several appetizers including the garlic ribs (never had before), soup dumplings, spring rolls and pork fried rice. All were outstanding with particular praise for the ribs....so interestingly great! We ended our meal with half a peking duck. Plenty of pancakes and ample cucumber and scallion. We washed it down with a bottle of champagne and cannot say enough about this establishment. We would highly recommend for a formal, casual, family meal. Having lived in the UK for over 40 years this place has great food!!! It is hard to beat London Chinese but this will not disappoint!

We celebrate Christmas Eve with the Capital Grille every year. It’s been 10 + years and we have never been disappointed. Chris and his team are fantastic. This year Matt was our server and he was knowledgeable, warm and personable. They are a staple in Providence and I highly recommend to visit anytime for a truly special meal & experience.

Mill's Tavern outdid itself on Christmas eve. Every entree, appetizer, and desert was outstanding. We had a wonderful time. The service was exceptional on a busy night.

We love the food at Nightshift-everything is quality there. This time, the service was lacking at the beginning of our visit. No one came to our table for about 15 minutes after we sat. Finally, a waitress did come and take our drink orders, and the service did improve from there. Might just be a staffing issue.
