- SStephenNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoNot only was this restaurant, classy, elegant, the food was outstanding!! We traveled an hour away to enjoy the experience, and it was absolutely worth it! The work staff was very warming and welcoming. The food was out of this world!!! They are very generous with their portions! I had the lobster ravioli with chunks of lobster around it extremely delicious. If you love clams, I suggest the Vongole Rogeanata it was extremely tasty and to top it off dip your bread in it… Delicious!! We also had the mozzarella en carrozza, outstanding!!! We ended the night enjoying the beautiful outside bar having a few cocktails. I didn’t want to leave. Cheers!!More infoVitoloPrice: Moderate• Italian• Central Beach•4.7
- EEllenVIPFort Lauderdale •26 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have been to Truluck’s before and had a great experience with Maria as our server. We requested Maria again, but she was not working. We were advised by the GM that he would seat us with another server that would provide a great dining experience. It was our son’s 19th birthday (noted on the reservation). We were seated at a window table with a view of the beach, a little birthday confetti, and card on the table at the place setting where our son was seated. Patricia was our server. Mike (GM) did a great job pairing her with us - She did provide excellent service!! We started with a seafood plate including shrimp cocktail, oysters, and stone crab claws. This was served with a trio of condiments, including a mustard sauce, minionette, and horseradish. The platter was smoking from dry ice, it was a great presentation. I had the wedge salad, no bacon, added red onion. Patricia took a table picture before the sky was dark with the smoking seafood platter. For entrees, we ordered the Blue crab stuffed lobster tails (2 Petit main lobster tails stuffed with crab cake), with mashed potato, asparagus, and a small cup (~ 1-2 oz) of lobster bisque to drizzle over the tails. My husband had the miso glazed sea bass over crab fried rice. A nice size piece of fish over rice and topped with a light cucumber slaw. I had the Pappardelle Bolognese (plant based sausage and meatballs in a tomato sauce with cashew ricotta over pappardelle pasta). Chefs kiss for this vegan entree! Trulucks did a great job creating a hearty, flavorful and well seasoned vegan entree!! Desserts — Our birthday boy was then presented with a a beautiful Baked Alaska. We also had carrot cake topped with caramel sauce and pecans, and a chocolate layer cake with cream cheese/peppermint icing topped with hot fudge sauce. The service manager, Titus, came by to introduce himself, thank us for dining at Trulucks, and wish our son a HBD. Class. Another successful dining experience - Thank you!More infoTruluck's - Ocean's Finest Seafood & Crab - Fort LauderdalePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Central Beach•4.8
- BSBudSOrlando / Central Florida East •36 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe met our friends from Canada who were going on a cruise for their 27th Wedding Anniversary, and dinner was fantastic! The steaks were incredible (perfectly cooked), as well as the sides and desert. Our room was a little noisy, but overall a great dining experience. We will go again next time we are in Ft Lauderdale.More infoSteak 954 at the W Fort LauderdalePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Central Beach•4.7
- JjohnDetroit / Eastern Michigan •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTakato never disappoints. Food and staff were amazing. We had lamb chops, sea bass, kimchi fried rice, shrimp fried rice, California roll, spicy tuna roll, yellowtail sashimi, machine, chocolate lava cake, specialty martini, cosmo, and a spicy margarita. Everything was amazing. The only bad part is this place seems to attract screaming kids with entitled parents with no regard and don't do anything. Not that the restaurant can help that but it is frustrating and definitely has an effect on the ambiance. Regardless, this is definitely one of the top restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale with amazing sushi and so much more.More infoTakato RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Central Beach•4.8
