Restaurants near Porter Square Station

Hostesses were not pleasant and not accommodating at all when we got there early and did not show any effort in trying to find us a table. Not exactly what I call customer service. With that being said, we have been there 3 times within the last 2 months because of the lively atmosphere, great Italian food and amazing cocktails and bar staff.

Fantastic, tasty, creative, seasonal dishes, and cocktails. Wonderful staff, pleasant atmosphere, and great value for money. Our favorite place to dine in the greater Boston area. 

Delicious food in a warm and welcoming ambience. Casual and cozy.

My son took his 85-year-old mother (me) out for new year's day brunch. Enjoyable ambience, great service. The buffet was interesting, but not too fresh, as we came late: B+. Courtney, who waited on us, as well as being very kind and efficient, was lovely, and had a delightful sense of humor: A+. We would certainly go there again.

Great meal. 3 of us ordered 5 dishes,which might have been 1 too many for our group (1 larger eater; two smaller eaters) Typically it can be noisy but they say us at a banquette in corner across from the bar, so the noise level (6pm res) was quite tolerable
