- BBrandonWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was just ok for brunch. I was a little disappointed in the cream of crab soup. The shrimp and grits was just ok. But based on previous visits where i thoroughly enjoyed the food, I’m not going to hold this one against them. Service is outstanding, can’t beat the environment. Previous visits for me had the food at 5 stars. Will of course try them at brunch again sometimeMore infoThe CharlesPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• La Plata•4.3
- CConnieSacramento / Sacramento Valley •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Mount Vernon Inn! The menu selections were extensive, including some of the items George Washington himself loved! We sampled the hoecakes (delicious) and peanut soup, which was a very rich and creamy soup that reminded me of French onion soup. My spouse had the French Toast off the Brunch Menu: it came with a side of cottage potatoes. I chose the Caesar salad with grilled chicken breast: don’t skip their croutons which are memorable. The portions were more than enough for us—especially the salad! We were seated in one of the many different rooms in a high traffic area which in hindsight I would avoid due to the noise and general commotion. Overall, though, I would recommend as part of the George Washington Mount Vernon experience!More infoMount Vernon Inn RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.6

That could have been my whole meal and I would have been perfectly happy:)More infoMia's Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Alexandria•4.7
- OOmarvipHawaii •43 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWow, as advertised, great host, server, manager!!!! The food we ordered was all superb!!! Crab cake to start, wife ordered the meatloaf, I had the short rib stroganoff. We had reservations and thankful we thought ahead, the 1330 lunch rush was visible on the weekend. I ordered a bloody mary, only portion of the meal which I thought lacked attention. Manager passed by the table and was very nice!!! Thank you for the Carrot cake, it was phenomenal. Highly would recommend and glad we came!!!More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
