We got there before our reservation but checked in immediately. We watched the hostess seat all the parties that arrived after us. Finally after we asked, she sat us. Our favorite dish is no longer on the menu but luckily we were still able to order it. We had a Birthday Club coupon which no longer covers any meal on the menu. All the prices have gone up dramatically. But the Birthday Coupon has not gone up in value. No loner is a picture nor the Buddha candle offered. This was my 61st time returning for a special occasion but Bennihanna has reduced the special experience. A shame, my family started going to Bennihanna’s in Encino in 1965.

Our party of nine dined for lunch in the middle room, next to the bar. Hardly any other diners were there so we had the room all to ourselves, which was wonderful. The wait staff was excellent—very accommodating and kind. Everyone was quite happy with their meals. Two of us had the hanger steak with a wedge salad. All of it tasted great. The steak was very tasty and cooked to perfection. A few had a hamburger. Again, delicious. Everyone liked the assortment ment of desserts we ordered. My only complain—$37 for salad and a very small steak is quite pricey.

It was a grateful experience, excellent customer service since the 1st minute, but the best part was the filet mignon, the best one i've ever tried. Congratulations to Pedro!!! The next time i visit the town I'll eat there for sure.

Place is amazing. Every bit of the experience from the server to the environment. Food was delicious. If you are looking to try an amazing unique dining experience, this is the place!
