- LLorenaSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy first time at InsideOUT, definitely met my expectations. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Servers were attentive. Food was great. The holiday decor that they had was beautiful and it snowed at some point which made it even better. I was very happy they had mocktails and not overly expensive like other restaurants. I recommend this place for sure and will be going back.More infoinsideOUTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.8

Rory is a veteran server with an extensive knowledge of wine, food and decorum. The whole staff did a wonder job as well. Liked the signature Old Fashion and the wine that Rory recommended. We had oysters, caviar and the lobster fritters to start. The baguette was warm and a great complement to the starters. The entrees were all loved. I had the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing white bean provencal. There were many other things we would have ordered. For your special occasion (this was my daughter’s birthday), this is the place! Bravo Mr A’sMore infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown•4.8
- CChrisVIPSan Diego •22 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBalboa Park is beautiful, especially during the Christmas season. The receptionist has a big beautiful welcoming smile and we were seated promptly. The cocktails were delicious (Old Fashioned and raspberry lemon drop). The servers and waitress (Brittany) were very attentive. The food was excellent, as always. Beef sushi roll (who knew?!), the Caesar salad, the short ribs - tender and so flavorful. The Prado never disappoints!More infoThe Prado at Balboa ParkPrice: Moderate• Californian• Downtown•4.6

Short ribs-good presentation and spices, but too salty Swordfish-excellent clams and sauce, fish was overcooked cornish hen-perfect Basque cheesecake-excellentMore infoARTIFACT at MingeiPrice: Expensive• International• Downtown•4.8
- JJoelleVIPSan Diego •11 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a lovely new years brunch (though I do wish they actually served brunch fare). Everything was very delicious! The service, while very friendly and accommodating, got a little slow toward the end as it got busier, which is understandable. It would’ve been okay except we were in a booth that was one of two they have for parties of six but maybe six short, slim people? Pretty uncomfortable, especially in that corner spot, I spent the whole meal with my arms up over the back of the booth. I’m chubby but the rest of my party were regular sized men and one slim woman and we all felt squashed. But otherwise, a beautiful meal on a lovely day.More infoSenecaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
