Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. The food was delicious and the waiting staff were all very polite - some were clearly new, but did a very good job at making us feel welcome. The only downside was there was a DJ who started at just after 8pm which made it very hard for us to have a conversation, even though we were sat in the restaurant side of the pub. Overall though I would definitely come back, just perhaps not on a Friday night!
