The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. The menu boasts an array of fabulous dishes, from the traditional 'pub grub' with our 2 for £16 menu, to our in house dry aged Steaks, cooked to perfection by our chefs or brought out to you on our signature sizzling hot stones. This is a very professional set up. The decor is welcoming, the toilets are immaculate, and the staff are attentive and brisk. The food is very Italian (hardly surprising with an Italian chef) and good value for money. This was our 4th visit and we look forward to our 5th. Bravissimi, Il Fiore!

I booked a table for Sunday lunch to celebrate my upcoming birthday. We were a party of 9 - 6 adults and 3 children. Our servers were friendly and patient. The food was great - tasty & plentiful but we were not over full! All in all a really nice, relaxed meal. Thank you
