- SSylvie MarieMontreal / Quebec •13 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoReview for Restaurant Kato I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Kato on Christmas night, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience overall. First and foremost, I’m incredibly grateful that they were open during the holiday season, providing an opportunity for a festive and memorable evening. The food was exquisite, with each dish showcasing authentic Japanese flavors and meticulous presentation. The freshness of the sushi and the delicate balance of textures and flavors truly stood out. The ambience was equally impressive—elegant, warm, and inviting, with subtle decor that added to the overall experience. The service was impeccable, with staff members who were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. That said, there were a couple of minor issues that I feel are worth mentioning. The tamari sauce, unfortunately, tasted diluted, which detracted slightly from the otherwise perfect flavors of the dishes. For such a high-caliber restaurant, I believe this is a significant oversight. Additionally, the wasabi could have had a bit more punch to elevate the sushi experience further. Despite these small concerns, my evening at Restaurant Kato was delightful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for making Christmas night so special!More infoRestaurant KatoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Gatineau•4.7

Picture this: tender, juicy chicken breasts enveloped in a golden, crispy batter so light it practically melts in your mouth. But it doesn’t stop there—topped with a fiery, tangy coleslaw and nestled on a soft, buttery sweet biscuit, every bite delivers an irresistible burst of zesty, sweet, and spicy euphoria. Trust us—this dish isn’t just a meal, it’s a flavour-packed adventure you’ll never forget!More infoLexington Smokehouse & Bar in WestboroPrice: Moderate• Barbecue• Nepean•4.7
