Restaurants near Palms To Pines Shopping Center

Very nice restaurant, reasonable prices. I love their clam chowder, had two bowls. that and a dinner salad were a full and satisfying meal. My wife had their scallops and polenta. Excellent. Atmosphere nice. The only drawback, they had lots of radiant heaters turned on, the heat was a bit overwhelming. If so much heat bothers you in the outside seating, request a table away from the heat. I'm sure they will accommodate, I will ask next time. Great Location in the Paseo shopping area of Palm Desert, chance to walk around the shops both before and after dinner. A wonderful evening.

We have been to Sullivans several times and tried it for Thanksgiving. The food was good, value was great, server was wonderful BUT we had to wait 45 minutes to get seated for our reservation. That was not good. And, there were a LOT of people waiting. Why overbook reservations? I understand it's a busy holiday and there are no shows, but you should have a better idea of the flow. And, people were calling to see if they could come, and the lady at the front desk told them they could come and wait. With people with reservations already waiting? We'll come again but will come either for the first seating or towards the end. Our reservation was for 2:30 - we won't make that mistake again.

Our evening at Mimmo’s was fantastic. It was a reunion/celebration, and our waitress could not have been nicer. When we sat down, she took our drink orders. After we were settled, she told us the list of specials( which there were many) and left us to visit. She would occasionally check on us. At one point she asked if we would like appetizers or something else, and we opted for bruschetta and shrimp cocktails (which were one of the specials). We were served and again, left to visit and enjoy our evening. After a while, she returned and asked if we would like something for dinner. We all had some variety of pasta and it was delicious. Finally, after a delicious dinner , dessert was offered. I had “homemade limoncello!” Fantastic! We will definitely return to Mimmo’s. Our waitress (and unfortunately I don’t remember her name) was the best. Very accommodating and was available and helpful. She definitely added to our dining experience.

My French martini was made perfectly. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Ambiance out on the patio was beautiful on a fall evening. Personnel and owner are friendly and welcoming. Very enjoyable dinner before heading to McCallum Theatre for the rest of the evening.
