You thought you knew Chinese gastronomy? The Shang Palace will challenge all your certainties. From Canton to Sichuan, passing through Yangzhou, chef Samuel Lee presents the flagship dishes of the (very vast) Chinese gastronomy in the respect of seasonality, without a show of strength but with finesse and delicacy. In the spectacular hall of this palace, an elevator takes you to a cosy room. No window here but a subdued light, a soft carpet, an imperial decoration and wood for a refined and calm atmosphere, allowing to taste his duck lacquered sheltered from prying eyes. All dishes intoxicate and leave unforgettable memories. It is no coincidence that the Shang Palace is the only Chinese starred restaurant in France!

Went here for my husband's 60th birthday while we were vacationing with our kids in Paris. The food is wondering and you can't beat the view of the Eiffel Tower. Be sure to ask for patio seating though, if the weather is appropriate. My only complaint is that there were quite a few smokers sitting nearby, but it was for the most part, fine. Highly recommend coming here for a special occasion.
