- DDanielToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a great dinning experience! Highly recommended if you want to have a nice intimate date night. Service was great as there is complimentary valet service (tip optional) and the staff were so friendly upon entering the restaurant. The decor and ambiance are stunning and has a nice modern art touch. Our waiter was amazing and so friendly. The drinks there were delicious and the food was authentic. After eating the food, we did not feel a “food hangover” and felt amazing after suggesting that the food is cooked with the best and freshest ingredients. The pastas noodles are made fresh as well so that is a huge bonus!More infoAurora ItalianaPrice: Expensive• Italian• West Bloomfield•4.7
- SScottVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy college roommate form early 80's and I started reviewing restaurants in the Metro Detroit Area 4 years ago. We have hit 80% of all the top restaurants (over 120) and we both consider Café' Cortina in our top 2-3 restaurants. I am not sure that I would take children under 14 there, only because of the complexity of the menu/food, and it seems like most of the servers have strong accents that are not always easy to understand. With that said I love going there about every 4-5 weeks and trying something different each time. Last night I had lamb chops. They may have been the best I have ever had. I savored every bite. I have had lamb chops at many nice restaurants. There pasta's are all made in house and are always exciting to try a different one. Make sure you save room for desert, as their pastry chef makes some very unique and tasty treats. This is probably one of the least known restaurants in Metro Detroit, a hidden gem for sure.More infoCafé CortinaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Farmington Hills•4.8
- JJaneneVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •8 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoIt was a privilege to be able to dine here in their second week of fully being opened! I can see this is going to be a gem…matter of fact, a hidden gem. I can’t wait to come back again to experience more delicious food from the menu. My favorite was the dirty martini dip and chips, the caviar fries, and the olive oil cake was amazing. My plan was to order the Branzino fish, but they were out of it so I had the lamb chops instead. But I will be back so that I can have the Branzino! My niece and I also ordered the calamari and the lamb bites, which were so tender. She had the king salmon entree and loved it! The cocktails were perfectly crafted... I had a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, and she tried one of their featured drinks called the lavender sol. The atmosphere and decor were absolutely beautiful and the service was impeccable! I’ll be back soon! More infoVive RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• West Bloomfield•4.4
