Situated in picturesque Langford Budville, just a stone's throw from Wellington, we offer really fantastic food and genuinly warm hospitality. Inside our pretty country pub you'll find log burners, 17th century flagstone floors and a delightful glass dining room. Our menu is a blend of stand-out restaurant-style dishes, tempered with comforting pub favourites. All created and prepared by our talented team of Chefs - Marcin, Shane and Alfie. Combine this with our fabulous cask ales - brewed in-house at our very own Black Bear Brewery, or a glass of wine supplied by local vinter Paddy Magill. Country dining at it's best.

Excellent service from start to finish. I booked a table for my twin daughters’ birthday. We were taken to the best table booth in the house. Our waiter explained the menu very well. The decor is outstanding and the food even more so. We had the 3 courses from the lunch menu and it was a lot of food and excellent value for money. Our bill was £120 for 3 adults that included drinks ie Bellini’s etc and the twins ordered desserts from the a la carte menu. I would highly recommend. Plus it was Christmas Eve so it was even more delightfully decorated than usually. We even had special Ivy Xmas crackers which we could take home. Plus the manager brought out a special dessert of lilac and mango ice creams…it was exceptional and we shall definitely be coming again! Highly recommended.

The food, as always was stunning and the service was perfect. The only thing that lets it down is the room temperature. It’s a cold building and although we were sat next to a heater no heat could be felt. After and hour or so we really began to feel the cold.

Great village pub. The food for the four of us was outstanding. Starters, mains and desserts were all of excellent quality. The beer (Nanook) was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub itself is lovely. Couldn't fault it!
