Skull Creek Dockside Restaurant, dropped its anchor in the Fall of 2017 and forever changed the culinary landscape of the Lowcountry. In early 2017 the partners of the restaurant began to transform it into their vision for Hilton Head's newest waterfront dining destination. This restaurant, which resembles an old-style river house, is full of authentic architecture, reclaimed wood, and nautical accents that leave you feeling like you've stepped into a Melville novel. Could not be happier with how our evening went. Celebrated our 10 year anniversary and Oak did not disappoint in any way, shape, or form. Excellent service, incredible food, and little unexpected touches to help celebrate our anniversary. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great all around restaurant.

Great meal and great service from Jessica. A great restaurant experience, a classic spot. Noise level was high initially but then calmed down. Everything was high quality, from cocktails to oysters to entrees and you have to get the coconut cake. If you are in Charleston, you need to eat here!

The setting of the place set the tone for something a little different; it is in an old church. We had their Thanksgiving service and it was quite delicious. My daughter had their filet and I had the traditional turkey. The sides were plentiful and the desserts were unique, but not too large as to make them over-filling after the meal. Our waiter had a smile and easy that made us comfortable asking for some minor changes to our meal.
