Abacá is an airy, atelier-style restaurant with a cool outdoor terrace, whipping up Filipino-Californian cuisine with flair in Fisherman's Wharf. It's the bricks-and-mortar spin off of chef Francis Ang's pop-up Pinoy Heritage. The lively menu is split up into barbecue sticks, noodles and rice, and small to big plates, but its far more nuanced than just that. Very nice place for lunch. Quick friendly service. Good food. Discounted parking in the lot out front. We parked there in the morning and used the streetcar to get around.

First time at this restaurant which happens to be the oldest Italian Restaurant in the USA. It's Old School and the waiters wear traditional shirt, best and tie. Food was excellent and so was the wine. Looking forward to going back soon. They offer valet so next time you don't want to try and find parking use the valet service.
