Restaurants near Nockamixon State Park

I've eaten at Plumbsteadville Inn many times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and efficient. The prices can be on the pricey side, but it is well worth the price.

I’d give 10 stars if I could. What a hidden gem in PA! We had a Christmas lunch date there today. The decor was bright and cozy, food was outstanding and service was prompt and perfectly done.

Great food and service. Adam M. was very attentive. He stopped by several times to see if we needed anything. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The noise level is a bit high when the dining room is full.

This was our first time at the Water Wheel. I had the Airline Chicken. The sauce is simple, light and compliments the chicken, which was tender and moist. The potatoes were very different. I’m guessing they are a twice cooked new potato with a crispy outer layer, but a creamy center. The asparagus was not too thick and had just a little snap. They were very busy, but the service was good. The noise level is a bit high, but given the large space with hard wood floors it wasn’t that bad.

Nice place. The hostess remembered us from a few months ago. Our server, Lydia, was prompt, efficient, warm and funny.
