Restaurants near Newhalem Visitor Center

Once again 13 moons has been a wonderful experience. Seated in an alcove that was quiet and the table was able to chat with one another. From the salads to desserts- all of it was delicious. The presentation was above par and made each bite memorable. Servers and assistants were attentive to our needs. The steaks were cooked to perfection as well as the special for the day -rockfish and petite filet. Pistachio crème brûlée and the double fudge chocolate cake/ice cream was a wonderful treat that was shared by the table Looking forward to to our next excursion to 13 moons

We have dined at Carnal many times and we never leave disappointed in the food quality or the service. On rare occasions when restaurants are a bit slow everywhere, Carnal can be under staffed and service is understandably slow. But even then the service is always friendly and the food is delicious. As the menu changes periodically, to keep it fresh and fun, we can always find new things to keep our experience fresh. Based on previous visits we knew the pasta and the steak was good so we ordered that again. The half chicken was new to us so we decided to give that a try. We were surprised by how delicious it was.

We've dined at Estelle several times and the food continues to be excellent. Our 6 person table sampled all of the entrees, two of the salads and two of the sides. Everyone like everything! Cocktails are also excellent and the ambiance is warm and sophisticated. The only reason Estelle doesn't get 5 stars is because I'm a wine lover and their wine list is too limited and not as good as their food.

a little longer wait upon arrival due to lingering guests, but once seated the view was amazing, the appetizer came out very fast and the meal did too - delicious and fresh. Waitstaff were great and the place was buzzing, a really nice treat for the holidays.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Waiter constantly checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. Front counter staff was helpful with picking out tea cup, etc. Food was AMAZING! Tea was awesome (and authentic.) The fresh scones were the best! Environment was calm and made it easy to have a great conversation with my daughter. Such a great experience! Thank you.
