The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. The menu boasts an array of fabulous dishes, from the traditional 'pub grub' with our 2 for £16 menu, to our in house dry aged Steaks, cooked to perfection by our chefs or brought out to you on our signature sizzling hot stones. Friendly attentive service, excellent food, generous portions and great value for money. The noise levels were higher than we would have liked, making conversation difficult, but it was busy so probably hard to avoid.

It was an enjoyable experience, i didn’t need to worry about what time to love as i could stay as long as i wanted. The food was great, the structure was aesthetically pleasing, great staff. I will definitely come back 😊

This is a very professional set up. The decor is welcoming, the toilets are immaculate, and the staff are attentive and brisk. The food is very Italian (hardly surprising with an Italian chef) and good value for money. This was our 4th visit and we look forward to our 5th. Bravissimi, Il Fiore!
