I am gluten free and dairy free and the waitress Leslie did an amazing job communicating what they could do to make my meal enjoyable! Leslie was so energetic and excited to be there. Another thing we noted was that we did not feel rushed at all. A lot of times restaurants just want to turn the table and get people moved out. We had time to review the menu, enjoy our wine, talk, and enjoy the food. It was a great place for a birthday dinner.More infoGibsons Bar & Steakhouse - RosemontPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Rosemont•4.7

She was so friendly and caring with a great personality! The food was delicious. Vodka gnocchi tasted awesome! The chocolate coconut moose desert was out of this world! Will be back again soon!More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Morton Grove, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Morton Grove•4.6
- SsusanChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe restaurant is outstanding and beautiful. The food is outstanding. The service was a little slow at first, especially for a Monday night (but it was packed, on a Monday night!) And the line cook salting the crispy potatoes was waaaaay too heavy handed. I politely and not even remotely annoyed mentioned it to the server and they comped both the potatoes and one of our desserts, which was totally unnecessary and unexpected. We would come back again and again. In fact this is my second trip!More infoEma - GlenviewPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Glenview•4.7
- CCarynVIPChicago / Illinois •82 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe chose Pennyville Station for our holiday party. I am so glad we did! Emma, our server, was wonderful. We had a larger group. She was patient and kind. She checked on us often. We started with the lemon basil hummus (SO light and fresh), the vegetable potstickers got good reviews (I never got to try one:)), and the kung pao cauliflower. Our entrees were fabulous! Most of us ordered the walleye special - it was absolutely amazing! It was very fresh and delicate. The preparation was pretty and delicious. They were happy to sub out broccolini for the mashe potatoes for a couple of us. One had the Wagyu burger which was huge and very tasty. It came with crispy fries! One had the short rib risotto; she said it was fantastic! We tried four desserts: tiramisu (So good, light and refreshing), warm apple pie/ crisp (really good!), key lime pie (best I've had in a LONG time), and the rich chocolate cake. It was a wonderful experience! We will be back!!!More infoPennyville StationPrice: Moderate• American• Park Ridge•4.7
