Over the years I have traveled extensively throughout Italy in search of new ideas, recipes, and great wines to bring back to Three Tomatoes. The source of inspiration continues to be the simple, fresh, healthy and local foods of Trattoria style cooking. Eating in a Trattoria in Italy is like eating with an Italian family. We had the wedge Autumn salad, which was wonderful. The mushroom bolognese was very good, and the hanger steak was outstanding. The cabernet was really good and the pomegranite mousse dessert was tasty. It was a little loud, but not too distracting. The only real negative was our server. He was very sweet, but he talked so softly it was hard to hear him. He also would disappear for long periods of time so we had to go looking for him or flag him down a few times. We waited for our check after the table was cleared for at least 15 minutes.

We appreciate our local restaurateurs and businesses in general, but when they excel it truly brings our experience to a brand new level. Location is a bit trippy, but its something you can remember, along with the fabulous food!
