Foxtown Brewing is steeped in tradition and driven by a passion for great beer. Once the Opitz Zimmerman Brewery in the mid-1800s, Foxtown is a reclamation of Mequon history. A wonderful dining experience with ambiance and fantastic, friendly, skilled staff. Scallop meal and the New York steak meals were chosen. Scallop meal was fantastic and generous servings, my New York Strip was prepared perfectly and one of the most tender NY Strips ever. The only reason I did not rate the meal a ten, was that the steak frites were way over the top too greasy leaving a trail of oil on my plate. Seasoning was fantastic, just too oily for me. Not be an expert of steak frites, maybe I was to have expected that presentation. Overall, we will be back.

Always happy w/our meals here. Very glad they were open on Xmas eve & love that they take reservations. Server was great. Only wish the offered another option for non fish eaters. Grilled chicken? Chicken would be great on their salads
