Welcome to Sugar Boat - a relaxed & informal neighbourhood bistro in the heart of the town on Colquhoun Square, a stones throw from the sea front. We are open daily from 7.30am (8.30am on Saturday & 9am on Sunday's) through until late. We serve everything from breakfast with a cracking fry up or eggs benedict with or avocado & poached eggs on toast. For lunch & dinner we offer a la carte menus.     Best Italian food for a long time. Mushroom starter was divine. Beautiful sauce full of flavour. Generous helpings also with Bruscetta. Then the most delicious Penne with Italian sausage. Again the most amazing sauce. Finished off with a very generous helping of Tiramisu. I'm usually disappointed by this as the restaurant versions are often dry and not a patch of Asda's. However this was way better and the liquer oozed out of it. Can't recommend highly enough. Will be back for sure.

    Ist visit to Karma Lake. Very impressed. Beautiful location despite the weather being poor in the day. Definitely be going back in the summer to try out the BBQ cook outs plus boat trips to the Island on the lake. Food was amazing and great service.

    Slightly disappointed as we had look at the online menu and decided that it was a good choice and had a few options that we were going to choose. Got there (15th Feb) and found only a limited Valentines menu was available and the options from the main menu that we would have chosen were not available.
